Unless it’s Easter time, the church can view passion as very negative. But, how are we to live with purpose, commit to church work, or worship without it? The problem is we are making no distinction between passions of the flesh, and passions of the spirit. (Galatians 5) When we treat all passions as bad, we risk suppressing the spirit in our lives.
