Live Performance Message Art

It was August of 2009, and  the new pastor presented me with an idea of drawing while he preached to add a visual aspect to the sermon. Being a person who likes to dive in headfirst with art it suited me well. I have continued to do that most Sundays since. Although the pastor who suggested the idea has moved on. The biggest challenge is that I never know how much time I will have. The most recent live performance drawings are always posted on my Facebook page. You will even find a few more on this website, all live performance drawings will be marked with an *.

On special occasions I will do a speed drawing where I limit myself to the duration of a 3-4 minute  song. The drawing below was done to  Beautiful Stranger by Rebecca St. James
